“Comfort, comfort my people, says your God”.
Isaiah 40:1
Project Hope is the project which saves the
lives of the Jewish people through humanitarian aid in former Soviet
Union countries. Project Hope reaches into the Ukraine and Moldova
with plans to expand into other countries in the future.
Why reach out?
Because:
- God has His plan with Israel and the
Jewish people.
- Those people live in terrible conditions.
- Many of them are Holocaust survivors.
- Monthly income for most of them is about
$15.
- Many of these people suffer starvation and
need food.
- Many of them are sick and need medicine or
medical treatment.
- Many of them are cold and need electric
heaters, wood and coal.
- Some of them have died because they were
hungry, sick, or cold, and nobody helped them.
- Many of them feel desperate and forgotten.
- God wants you to be His blessing to them.
Scripture tell us in Genesis 12: 3, “I will
bless those who bless you….”
Project Hope is ready to help Holocaust
Survivors, Jewish people, Jewish children, Jewish communities,
Jewish synagogues, those who are hungry, those who want to make
“Aliyah” to Israel, orphans, those who are cold, and those who are
alone and feel forgotten.
Project Hope includes several other programs
which are:
-
Soup Kitchens:
where people get a warm meal once a day on a daily basis.
-
Food Packages:
where people get a food package on a monthly basis.
-
Medical help:
where people can get medicine or medical treatment.
-
One time help:
where people get electric heaters, wood, or coal for winter or

Chevra creates an environment for all
organizations, churches and individuals to help Israel and the
Jewish people in the former Soviet Union. Chevra collects financial
support and transforms it into food, medicine, clothes, shoes, coal,
wood, electric heaters, etc.
Chevra provides educational and informative
materials like newsletters, brochures, audio and video cassettes. It
also organizes conferences in order to educate people about
anti-Semitism, understanding God’s plans for Israel and His people,
and the Jewish roots of Christianity and Jewish history.
Fellowship of Living Praise has been involved
in supporting this mission outreach to God’s chosen people since
August 1999. Pastor Stanislaw Gawel from Zilina, Slovakia is our
mission coordinator who travels into the western part of the Ukraine
on a regular basis to oversee the outreach of Project Hope. More
information about this urgent ministry can be obtained by contacting
the church. |
